  • Church House, is situated next to the village hall and church in this conservation village in Nottinghamshire's Trent valley. The family needed more space to accommodate their growing family, including two extra bedrooms, a large kitchen/family dining area and a garden room giving access to the rear garden.
  • The site was very tight and one of the new bedrooms had to be sited in the loft with access up a purpose built ladder. Whilst the main extension to the house has been designed using brick and slate, the garden room and first floor link to the new bedroom are timber framed and glazed. This, in part, was a reflection of the existing lych gate at the entrance to the nearby church.
