- The halls shown were a conversion (St Marthas, shown above) and brand new (The Vine, shown below). Both were part of an overall community scheme and were designed to be multi-purpose halls, capable of accommodating recreational sport, music, dance, childrens' activities and, if required, worship. As such, floor, wall and ceiling finishes were selected to cater for all the activities listed and to give acceptable reverberation times for those taking part.
