The new 2 storey Children's Centre and refurbished single storey Foundation Unit is a contemporary design which faces the street with a covered corner entrance ramp with rooms arranged off a central internal street.

The Centre is a timber frame construction, highly insulated with heat recovery system throughout to reduce energy use.  The roof is clad in Falzinc and elevations are in blue brick and Larch.

Work commenced in September 2007 and was completed in June 2008.
