An Edwardian house, which had been altered in the 1970s, offered perfect potential for development. The front was extended sympathetically at first floor, with an open porch detailed with a contemporary twist. More dramatically, the uninspiring rear elevation received a contemporary flat roof extension across its full width. This accommodated a large family room without affecting the existing comfortably sized bedroom at first floor. The raised terrace extends the internal living space outside and the large sliding doors allows uninterrupted views of the garden.
