The RIBA Plan of Work

To ensure your project progresses smoothly from concept to completion, we follow the RIBA Plan of Work. This provides a clear, structured approach to every stage of the architectural process, while allowing us to tailor our services to suit your project's specific requirements.

  • Stages 0–1: Strategic Definition & Brief – establishing your vision, objectives and project requirements.
  • Stage 2: Concept Design – exploring creative design options and developing the preferred solution.
  • Stage 3: Spatial Coordination – refining the design and preparing drawings for planning applications.
  • Stage 4: Technical Design – producing Building Regulations information, technical drawings and tender documentation.
  • Stage 5: Construction – supporting your project throughout the build.
  • Stage 6: Handover – helping you transition into your completed building.
  • Stage 7: In Use – reviewing how your building performs and ensuring it continues to meet your needs.
