House overlooking the Trent valley

A detached house in an idylic village could be everyones dream.  Not however if the internal layout is awkward and rooms do not flow into one another.  In this property a simple re-organisation of rooms and a new staircase transformed a tired 1950's house into a state of the art dream home.  A re-sited kitchen and re-modelled drawing room better link the house to the garden and make better use of the solar gains.
